The Organization and Its Mission

Our mission is to serve as the state of Colorado’s comprehensive graduate research university with selective admission standards, offering a comprehensive array of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degree programs. Our vision is to be a leader in identifying and addressing the humanitarian, social and technological challenges of the 21st century.

Justin Schwartz, Finalist

Justin Schwartz will join the University of Colorado community, becoming the chancellor of the Boulder campus on July 1.

Read a message from CU President Todd Saliman following a unanimous vote by the CU Board of Regents approving the hire. Current Chancellor Philip DiStefano will continue as a faculty member, the senior executive director of the Center for Leadership and in other roles.
